The New Testament Church of God is a part of the International Church of God with the General Headquarters in Cleveland Tennessee, U.S.A, which is now established in over 170 countries around the world. In 1953, the New Testament Church of God (NTCG) began in the United Kingdom, and has grown to 130 branches and missions, with some 30,000 members and adherents. The Church is recognized as one of the UK’s largest Black Majority Church organizations. The Church’s National Headquarters is based in Northampton, England.

The Brixton Community Church is strategically positioned and located in a residential area in the London Borough of Lambeth. Brixton is a district of South London, and has been identified as one of the 35 major cities in Greater London. It is bordered by Stockwell, Streatham, Camberwell, Clapham, Tulse Hill and Herne Hill and is a multiethnic community, a large percentage of whom are from African and Caribbean descent. Brixton has a rich culture including the arts and music and has excellent transport links to and from a variety of places.

As a community church our primary pursuit is the establishment of God’s Kingdom on earth. It is our firm belief that God has created everyone with a specific purpose. It is only as we pursue Him that we discover the purpose for which we have been created and the innate potential he has placed in us, not only for our benefit, but also to positively impact the lives of others.

Life is growth, and anything that stops growing will eventually die. We are interested in the growth and development of all those with whom we come into contact, and we will endeavour to make a positive impact in our local, national and the international communities.

In addition to our Sunday morning service, we have a Youth Fellowship, Sunday School, Women’s and Men’s Fellowship, Prison Ministry Team, Evangelistic Team and the backbone of every church, regular Prayer and Fasting sessions.

Whatever your background, race or culture, join us at this our community Church, where you will find a very warm welcome and a loving, caring home for yourself and your family.
